Samsung Blade Bezel is a new laptop with under-the-display camera #IndiaNEWS #Tech
Lately, one of the main concerns that have engaged the smartphone makers have to do with the bezels. With the gradual disappearance of thick bezels, companies had to develop innovative ways to incorporate the front camera. Fast forward to 2020, and the display technology now makes panels with semi-transparency. This paved the path for under-display cameras for smartphones. One of the leading smartphone manufacturers, Samsung too, is looking forward to incorporating this technology, but surprisingly not for its smartphones. Samsung wants to push the under-the-display cameras to rs with its Blade Bezel laptop.

The Samsung Blade Bezel laptop uses an OLED panel that comes with an under-the-display camera. In the case of Samsung, they are calling it the UPC.

Although Samsung did not reveal this technology or the laptop at the CES2021, perhaps we will get a glimpse of both of these things at the Samsung Unpack on January 14.

The new UPC technology for Samsung enables the manufacturer to reduce the bezel on the laptop. This results in an impressive screen-to-body ratio of 93%. This will inevitably lead the company to fit larger screens into smaller laptop chassis.

This OLED panel is half as thick as regular displays to be lighter than other laptops. The Blade Bezel laptop makes use of a Samsung OLED display instead of the Samsung LCDs.

The thickness of the display is only 1mm, and it weighs only 130g. This could be a game-changer for the way we perceive laptops.

Every varied consumer would appreciate the reduction in size and weight for laptops without any shadow of a doubt. Furthermore, the reduced bezel size may also make the videos feel more immersive.

As of now, no more news is available on the upcoming new Samsung Blade Bezel under-the-display camera laptop.
