2021-22 Odisha Budget: Total outlay Rs 1.70 lakh crore #IndiaNEWS #Metro
Bhubaneswar: Finance Minister Niranjan Pujari tabled Monday the Budget for the 2021-22 fiscal at the Odisha Legislative Assembly here.
The total Budget outlay of the state is Rs 1.70 lakh crore. While the administrative and progarmme expenditure allocations are Rs 85,000 crore and Rs 75,000 crore respectively, Rs 3,050 crore has been allocated for disaster management.
The Finance Minister presented the Budget on digital mode. This is the second budget of the fifth term of Naveen Patnaik-led Government.
Highlights of 2021-22 Budget
Rs 3,500 crore allocated to converting SCB Medical College and Hospital, Cuttack into an AIIMS Plus institute over 3 years.
Provision of Rs 1,800 crore allocated for the KALIA scheme, Rs 450 crore under Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana (RKVY).
Rs795 crore allocated for construction of ‘In-stream Storage Structures (ISS) in all major rivers.
Rs 819 crore provided under scheme interest Subsidy/Subvention to farmers.
Allocation of Rs 542 crore provided under UBADHA scheme to modernise Puri.
Ekamra Kshetra Amenities and Monument Revival Action (EKAMRA) Plan’ will be done with an investment Rs 200 crore.
Samaleswari Temple Area Management and Local Economic Initiative (SAMALEI) has been provided with an outlay of Rs 200 crore.
Rs 90 crore provided for building new world class hockey stadium at Rourkela.
Water Resource Department provided with an allocation of Rs 8,266 crore.
Rs 2,258 crore outlay provided for incomplete AIBP projects.
Rs 454 crore allocated for state funded Water Sector Development Programme.
Outlay of Rs 710 crore provided for flood control and drainage work.
Rs 860 crore allocated for Parbati Giri Mega Lift Irrigation Scheme.
Rs 180 crore provided under RIDF for Jalanidhi Scheme to create additional irrigation potential.
Rs 389 crore provided for completion of 21,000 deep bore wells.
Rs 400 crore allocated under BKVY for installation of 1,500 community lift irrigation projects.
Rs 164 crore for revival of 1000 defunct lift irrigation points
Rs 101 crore for Canal Lining and System Rehabilitation Programmes.
Rs 77 crore provided under Nabakrushna Choudhury Secha Unnayana Yojana.
