10.05 pm: Ministry of Home Affairs constitutes multi-disciplinary teams to visit all private hospitals in Delhi to check the status of compliance issued by the health ministry for testing and treating Covid-19 patients and also to contain the spread of the infections in the Capital, reports ANI. The ministry adds that the teams will start their visit immediately and submit their report within two days.8.02 pm: Tamil Nadu’s Covid-19 tally rises to 7,59,916 with 1,725 new cases, according to ANI. The state’s toll goes up by 17 to 11,945.8.01 pm: Rajasthan registers 2,169 new cases, taking the state’s case count to 2,27,986, reports ANI.
