Prabhakar Reddy is TRS candidate for Munugode #IndiaNEWS #Nalgonda
Hyderabad: Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) President and Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has announced that former legislator K Prabhakar Reddy would be the party candidate for the Munugode by-elections.
The Chief Minister made this announcement on Friday after taking into consideration different survey reports. The party spokesperson said Prabhakar Reddy was active during the agitation for separate Telangana and had been actively associated with the people of the constituency.
On the occasion, Chandrashekhar Rao handed over the party B-form to TRS candidate Kusukuntla Prabhakar Reddy who is contesting in the bypoll. He had also presented a cheque of Rs 40 lakh as the party fund for the election expenses. Prabhakar Reddy thanked the Chief Minister for giving him the opportunity to contest the bye-election.
Energy Minister G Jagadish Reddy, MLCs T Ravinder Rao, Palla Rajeshwar Reddy, MLA Jeevan Reddy, Guvvala Balaraju, former MLC Srinivasa Reddy and others were present.
