A FURIOUS wife allegedly strangled her husband to death after finding his flirty phone messages with another woman.
Treerat Jamnong started arguing while she was drinking with her partner Phipop Khayankan at their home in Chonburi, Thailand, on March 8.

Later that night, a neighbour walked by their door and saw the 48-year-old husband’s lifeless body sprawled on the bed while the wife was distressed.
He called the police who arrested the wife for the murder, which she allegedly admitted to and claimed she had been attacked first.
The dead man’s brother, Yut Khayankan, said his sister-in-law was angry because she had caught her husband cheating.
They allegedly started arguing over explicit messages on his phone with another woman, which appeared to show they were having a secret affair.
He said: “The couple drank together with some friends but then my sister-in-law looked at my brother’s phone and saw his messages to another woman.
“We know they were fighting because the neighbours said there was a lot of noise, but they ignored it.

“Then she strangled him out of anger because he cheated. My brother was always very foul-mouthed, so I think he insulted her, which made it worse.”
The brother added that he was not angry at his sister-in-law as he thought it was the couple’s business.
He said: “This incident is not my business and it’s understandable for her to be angry.”
The police said that they will charge Treerat with inflicting injuries on other without intention to cause death and will wait for the post-mortem examination result.
Police Major General Prakarn Prajong said: “We will need the examination results first which show the exact cause of death before we can upgrade the charge.”
