THIS is the moment Italians on coronavirus quarantine sang from their balconies to lift their spirits on lockdown.
Residents in housing blocks in Casoria commune in Naples yelled “don’t give up” and sang rousing football songs together.

In the footage, the residents chant: “We will stay at home. Tonight the whole of Casoria are united in chorus.
“The people will never give up so come on Naples!”
The awe-inspiring video was uploaded to Facebook by Susy Unica Silvestri, and has since had almost 10,000 shares.
The quarantined Neopolitains also break into songs supporting their local team, Società Sportiva Calcio Napoli’s song.
They belt out: “People like us will never give up; people like us will never give up; people like us; people like us; people like us will never give up,’ they chant in unison.
“Come on Italy! Come on Naples! Forever!
“We are all united. Come out on your balconies, out on your balconies! Come out on your balconies, out on your balconies!
“The virus that is facing us will not defeat us… The virus that is facing us will not defeat us!”
In Italy the number of deaths exceeded 1,000 on Thursday with over 15,000 cases confirmed.
It also emerged today that Italian medical chief Roberto Stella, who had been struck down by coronavirus, died of the disease aged 67.
The country is currently on lockdown with public events banned, cinemas, gyms and pubs closed, funerals and weddings cancelled and sporting matches including Serie A games suspended.

Within minutes of the announcement, supermarkets and late night stores across Italy reported a surge of panic buying.
Pictures show huge queues of people outside shops as shelves were left empty.
There were also reports of vital medical supplies being looted as chaos grips the country.
