Nagarkurnool: A double tragedy hit a family when a woman who was rushing to her village to attend the funeral of her father, was run over by a bus and killed on the spot on Thursday morning.
Police said the woman Anuradha, was rushing from Hyderabad to Ippalapalli village where her father Karthik Reddy died of a heart attack.
Anuradha, riding pillion on a motorcycle was hit by an RTC bus near Vudimilla village of Padara mandal near Achampet.
Anuradha, a resident of Hyderabad died on the spot as the bus hit. The accident took place as the bike was taking a turn near a fuel station.
