Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday said that international travel should be made easier through mutual recognition of vaccine certificates.Addressing the Global Covid Summit hosted by United States President Joe Biden, the prime minister emphasised on the need to “focus on addressing the pandemic’s economic effects???.Modi’s statement came on a day the UK government revised its travel policy to include Serum Institute of India’s Covishield to its list of approved coronavirus vaccines. However, Indians travelling to the country will still have to quarantine for 10 days. Media reports said the problem was not with Covishield but the vaccine certification in India.
