Xiaomi launches its online voice speed dating app called HEYY #IndiaNEWS #Apps
Some time ago Elon musk, being the popular internet persona that he is, inadvertently made Clubhouse famous globally in an instant. Following the newfound popularity of Clubhouse, other companies had started jumping the bandwagon and coming up with similar social platforms, including the famous Chinese tech giant Xiaomi.

This comes after the company announced the closure of its app called the Michao app. The app used to be the toughest rival of the WeChat app in China. However, after Clubhouse blew up in popularity, the company decided to re-launch the Michao app after just a week and made its name for a voice chat for professionals.

Xiaomi would not keep its potential only to the Michao app, and likewise, as per a few media sources, the company has launched an app called HEYY. The app is developed by Metso Software Design (Beijing) Co., Ltd. which Xiaomi acquired back in 2015.

HEYY is an online voice speed dating software that will show recommendations following the dating habits and characteristics of that user. It brings together a large number of high-quality single users to help them find the most suitable person. Additionally, the app could also be used for voice one-on-one chats, games, and voice talks; users can also make new friends on the app. Currently, users can choose what they would like to see from five major categories including sports hall, karaoke hall, playing games, and listening to the radio.

The new HEYY is not to be confused with Mi Talk which specializes in industry technology discussions whereas HEYY is basically a dating app. With the deployment of the new HEYY app, Xiaomi is hoping that it would make a comeback on the social media platform through the opening of Clubhouse, and come up with a new line that differs significantly from WeChat.
